Terms & Conditions
These terms explain the basis on which physical books are sold through I Want to Know and the general rules for using this website.

About I Want to Know
I Want to Know is the trading name used on this website.
The books
The website sells physical books in the editions that are shown as available at the time of ordering. We try to describe each book accurately and to keep availability information current.
Book titles, cover artwork, trademarks and third-party copyrighted material remain the property of their respective rights holders. Nothing on this website transfers ownership of those rights to I Want to Know.
Prices and shipping
Book prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). The shopping cart shows the merchandise subtotal and the available shipping option and cost before you continue to payment. The final amount due is shown before you pay.
Shipping is calculated separately according to the destination, parcel and available service.
Placing an order
You can review the books, quantities, delivery details and shipping choice before payment. Please check the delivery address carefully before continuing.
Payment is made through Stripe-hosted Checkout as a one-time payment. The website does not sell the books as a subscription and does not create monthly or annual recurring charges.
Your order is accepted when payment has been confirmed and an order confirmation is issued. The confirmation records the order number, books, shipping and amount paid.
Delivery
Orders are dispatched from the United Kingdom to the delivery address supplied at checkout.
Where a particular delivery timeframe has been agreed, we will work to that timeframe. If no different timeframe is agreed, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable UK consumer law.
Full shipping and return information is set out on the Shipping & Returns page.
Cancellations, returns and faulty goods
Your rights to cancel an online order, return goods and obtain a remedy for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are explained on the Shipping & Returns page. Nothing in these terms removes or reduces your statutory consumer rights.
Optional marketing
Any marketing choice at checkout is separate from the purchase. The box is unticked by default and you can complete the order without agreeing to marketing.
Website information
We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and available, but information may occasionally need to be corrected or updated. If an obvious error affects an order, we will contact you and deal with it fairly.
Use of the website
You may use the website for normal personal and lawful purposes. You must not deliberately interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, or use it in a way that could damage the service or other users.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow that exclusion or limitation. Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights available to consumers.
Contact
If you have a question about an order or these terms, please use the Contact page.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the website, selling arrangements or legal requirements change. The version applying to an order is the version made available when that order is placed.
